Okay, so this couple is incredibly special to me. Justin is Joey’s brother, and he and Haley have been together for years now. This means I officially get to call her my sister in November! Yay!!

She is seriously the BEST, has the biggest heart, and these two are SO PERFECT together!!!!

To me, one of the best parts in photographing engaged couples is watching their personalities come out in each other and watching them laugh! I just love it. We did a fun ring shot on the barbed wire. And, as side note, when I do engagement pictures, I try to do head shot for the bride…a special “extra” for her parents, for her, or for him. We chose to do their shoot in two locations: historic downtown Perry and a classic field out in the country.

We used white outfits and jeans for a more modern look downtown near the studio. The other we shot in a pasture, which is a very popular location here in our small town.

Haley changed into a dress for the pasture pictures and she wore the boots she has bought for her wedding day!

I love grabbing individuals at every session! You just never know when you’ll need an updated shot.

I love our downtown. With my whole heart!! So I love when I can intertwine a love story with all of the character!  

Oh, my heart. I’ve never seen this man melt like I see him do for this woman.
