and as you know… I’ve wanted to share all the Southern Home things for SO long – and now I’m so excited to through my YouTube Channel!! Your kind words have kept motivating me – so please do let me know in the comments if you’ve watched it! I love to hear your thoughts!

And I don’t want to hear it from the early-decorator-naysayers. 😉

I decorated early and I need some joy in my life this year and y’all are just gonna have to accept that! Haha!!

So I made my very FIRST clean & decorate with me Video on YouTube!

In this week’s video, I teach you how to make a TOXIN-FREE Simmer pot to make your home smell like #allthefallthings , and a DIY Essential Oil cleaning spray if you’re like me and have not been able to find any Mrs. Meyer’s Fall sprays in stock! (PS – I snagged some at Target this morning! Get on their app an request stock notifications. Grove had some too!) We also decorate the fireplace and mantle, make a fall essential station in the kitchen, as well as decorate the dining room and our church pew/bench!

If you’re not familiar with YouTube trends… these Clean & Decorate With Me Videos are QUITE the ‘thing’ to do now! They’re motivating, inspiring and they can help you get into the mood for swapping seasons! They also can help you learn the new trends, know what’s available this year, and keep up with the seasonal styles! They can be so fun to follow!

Okay – but why so early?

In short –

because of the search demand & the algorithm.

Searches peaked last year for fall decor between August 9th-September 7th, so I wanted mine to be in the prime search time for max views! By the time most people start decorating, seasonal content has been out a while. I also am in this amazing YouTuber community now and they planned a Fall Collaboration on this date — I couldn’t resist joining in!

SO even though I’ve planned to make my channel mostly Entreprenurial content, you know that I also wanted to share our Southern Home & Motherhood – and this very much falls into those categories!
