During our rebranding, I was lucky enough to have Laura Foote take some amazing fresh, updated shots of our little downtown studio! I frequently get asked about it, so I thought I’d do an updated studio tour!!

Laura is on the right! She’s the magic behind these gorgeous images! (She was literally a Disney Princess!! Isn’t that crazy?! She’s so amazing!)

Styling is by Megan Martin Creative – who designed my entire brand!

We opened April 6, 2015! I was barely 25, with a 2 & 4 year old + a LOT of hand-me-down furniture! We’ve come a long way since then!!

I remember the moment I picked out that chandelier. I sat in my Ikea chair, in my tiny, backyard home studio with BIG dreams. It reminded me of Mama Sara’s Chandelier and I searched high and LOW for it! It had to be crystal – just like hers. We actually had to add support to the studio ceiling to make it able to hold the weight… ha! But it’s still my favorite thing of all. It’s still a reminder of a simpler time in my life… watching those fancy crystals hang over that silver-laden dining table as a child – it makes me smile to see her face anytime I used incorrect grammar under it…. haha!!! (She was an English Professor 😉 and she would not approve of my use of run-on sentences or emojis in parentheses haha!!) Oh… she’d have a fit now! Haha!

It really does remind me daily of just how much Mama Sara still has an impact on my life, and reminds me that no matter what you start with or where you are, you are capable of achieving anything.

So, all that to say- when you walk in my studio, the first thing you see is the crystal chandelier!
